Eye Clinic (Patna, Bihar)

On 5th & 6th April 2014, a two day Eye Clinic was organized in the remote village Parasi of District Arwal, Bihar by Raj Vidya Kender, sponsored by The Prem Rawat Foundation and The Prem Saagar Foundation.

Shri Buddha Deo Kumar, teacher of Govt. Middle School, Parashurampur inaugurated the Eye Clinic. In his concluding remark, he stated that the camp organized in village Parasi facilitated the villagers of the poor section of the society who could not otherwise get treatment of their eyes. All facilities were made available here and they were benefitted by this eye clinic. All the volunteers of Raj Vidya Kender were doing their best with love in a cordial atmosphere. All were happy with the arrangements. “I wish that Raj Vidya Kender gives light to the whole world as it did here.

In this eye clinic 1253 people from 35 villages visited for their Eye check up. A team of one doctor and 5 refractionists attended them and checked their eyes. After the eyes check up, 1038 villagers were provided spectacles and 770 units of eye drops were given to them. 97 people were found suffering from cataract; they were advised for govt. hospitals for further treatment of their eyes.
