Eye Clinic at (Bhiwadi, Rajasthan)
A two day free eye clinic was organized by the Prem Rawat Foundation, Prem Sagar Foundaton and Raj Vidya Kender at Government Girls School, Sec-3, Gaurav Path, Bhiwadi, Rajasthan covering 6 nearby villages within 15 km radius on 15th and 16th Nov. 2014. Dr. K.C. Meena, CMO, Tizara, Alwar inaugurated the clinic.
Eyes of 1351 persons were examined. 778 persons were provided free specs, 1127 patients were given free eye-drops and free medicines were given to 827 patients. 56 patients needed cataract operation and hence they were referred to the Distt. Govt. Eye Hospital. Dr. Suresh Gupta and Dr; Gaurav Singh attended all the patients along with four refractionists. Two Project Managers and two Supervisors along with 50 volunteers managed the clinic in a professional way.
Mr. Sanjeev Aggarwal, Secretary(F), Bharat Vikas Parishad compared the clinic being like a Yagna and appealed the mass to get benefited by this free specialized service. Dr. K.C. Meena impressed by the spirit of the organizations wished for many more eye camps of such a nature and thanked all those associated with this charitable humanitarian act.
Everyone who visited got benefitted with all the satisfaction by this eye-camp. Many like Deepa Tewari of village Tizara, Vikas Dayama of village Alampur, Tohfa Devei of Bhiwadi, Deepa Chowdhary of Bhiwadi and Laxmi Devi categorically thanked the organizers with full heart. The best part was that in every corner there was a feeling of satisfaction and gratitude for this camp.
